Prof. George Gotsadze has spearheaded CIF since 1996, transitioning from Director to President in 2017. With over 25 years of expertise in health policy and systems, he has significantly expanded the foundation’s global reach and technical capabilities.
Maia Uchaneishvili joined CIF in 2011 and has served as Executive Director since 2024. With over 15 years of experience in the health sector, she oversees the planning and execution of the foundation’s entire research and project portfolio.
Tamar Goguadze has served as Financial and Administrative Director since 1997. A cornerstone of the organization, she has been instrumental in leading CIF through major growth phases and shaping its structural development.
Natia Razmadze joined CIF in 2011 and is responsible for the strategic oversight of the organization’s Human Resource Information and Management System (HRIMS). She has been a key driver in modernizing CIF’s internal infrastructure.
Salome Mikadze joined CIF in 2021 and leads the coordination of technical assistance and consultancy projects. She ensures that every initiative aligns with the foundation’s strategic vision and long-term goals.
Ana Chubinishvili joined CIF in 2021, bringing her expertise as a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) to lead health research initiatives across primary care, mental health, immunization, and pharmaceutical policy.
Dr. Akaki Zoidze is former Deputy State Minister with 25+ years in global health reform. A 2018 WHO award winner, he has advised the World Bank and UN across 15 countries and serves as an Associate Professor at Ilia State University.
With 20+ years of experience in 20+ countries, Dr. Gotsadze advises ministries on health reforms and transition planning. She is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt holder specializing in quality improvement and social sector strategy.
A member of the CIF team since 2000, Dr. Chikovani is a senior researcher focused on immunization, mental health, and program sustainability. She has been instrumental in national-level health planning and evidence synthesis.
A researcher at CIF specializing in mental health, HR development, and social impact. With a background in healthcare administration, she is currently a PhD candidate in Public Health at Ilia State University.
Joined CIF in 2023 with six years of healthcare experience. She supports research projects that generate evidence to improve health systems and inform policy decisions.
Ana coordinates community engagement at CIF, focusing on inclusive, evidence-based health interventions. She is a PhD candidate specializing in participatory research and strategic community collaboration.
Saba joined the Foundation in 2025. He focuses on health economics research, data modeling, and producing evidence-based visualizations through advanced statistical analysis.
